The Middle East is proving to be the strongest market for Salman Khan’s action-drama Radhe our Most Wanted Bhai, which opened across platforms on May 13. The box office for the film, both from cinemas and the pay-per-view model, is more than $27.2 million.

The majority of the box office collection came from the UAE. In the Gulf territory, the film released across UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain and it has been suggested that some 60% contribution of the total overseas weekend box office is from the Middle East.

Over the first weekend, the film earned $1.875 million worldwide at cinemas according to BoxOfficeIndia. It opened in a series of territories, including the US and the Gulf countries and opened in the UK on May 17. In USA, the film had an opening weekend of $200,000.

Directed by Prabhu Deve aka Prabhudheva (who also directed Salman Khan in the film Wanted) it features Khan as cop Rajveer Shikawat aka Radhe, who goes on a manhunt to find the wealthy man secretly running a crime syndicate. It is the first Hindi film to go for a hybrid release, opening digitally as well as in cinemas.
